Our BIGGEST new area of service for UpB4theSon is our Bed Ministry, called Beds4Kidz. We solicit gently used beds, and pass them on free of charge, to those in need.  Not just kids, but parents, grandparents, veterans, and so on.

Already, in just a short period of time, we have moved over 2,000 people from the floor onto nice beds! Still, many more families ask us for help every week. Our goal is that someday soon, every child in New Mexico will have a safe, comfortable bed to sleep in each night. The only limitations are, how many beds we have available, and volunteers to make this all happen.UpB4 the Son Ministries & Charities, a Non-Profit registered with the IRS as a 501c3, is excited to present the newest branch of our family tree, Beds4Kidz !!

Everyone knows a good nights sleep is one of the most important keys to physical and emotional wellness.  We believe that no child of God should have to sleep on the floor or the couch, yet thousands do...every single night!

The Beds4Kidz program is simple & effective. Families who need beds, apply online at www.beds4kidz.org.  As soon as possible based on our inventory & current requests, we give them beds that match their personal needs, and we do it free of charge.

Your support is the key to reaching the goal!  Donate your gently used beds & linens (of any size or age) so we can give them away to those in need. Your financial gifts allow us to purchase beds at wholesale (when the number of donated beds don't meet the demands), and cover fuel, maintenance & insurance costs for our delivery truck. None of us, who work so hard on this project are paid. We do ALL of this with volunteers, & just one part-time staff person.  That means 100% of everything you donate goes directly to serve those it is intended for!

I have an 11 year-old son with Down Syndrome.  We have recently moved from public housing to a beautiful apartment on the Westside of ABQ. I am in need of a bed for my son who uses oxygen at night along with a CPAP machine to help with his breathing.  He also uses a nebulizer to help open up his breathing during the day along with an inhaler when we are in the go.
